Downtown/4th of July

OKC has been fun this year. Greg is still working his butt off in this miserable heat and doing great-Love him! Sundays are Greg's only day off, so it's usually the time that we go see the OKC sites. A couple weeks ago we went to Bricktown (downtown). You can walk along the canal through the city and see all of the shops, restauraunts, etc. They also have this memorial of how the Oklahoma was founded. The statues are huge-very cool.

This is a picture of the canal in Bricktown

For the 4th of July this year the girls went and bought fireworks. We were able to buy some pretty neat fireworks because they aren't illegal in Oklahoma. We did our fireworks at midnight on the 3rd so we could go downtown and see the fireworks on the 4th. We ended up buying tickets to the baseball game and right before it was supposed to start they cancelled it because the field was too wet. We were so bummed out because we had to just sit there and wait for an hour and a half for the fireworks. It ended up being a lot of fun and were glad we had the best seats in the house.

I really like that last picture of you two. Very cute :) Isn't exploring a new place fun? And I feel bad for Greg too. The humidity is the worst!!!

Looks like you guys are having a great summer! We need to get together when you get back. I can't believe the summer is already almost over! I bet you can't wait to get back!
